I am a scientist in the Paleoecological Environmental Assessment and Research Laboratory (PEARL) at Queen's University (Ontario, Canada).
My research uses the invertebrate remains preserved in lake sediments to track long-term environmental change and the response of aquatic communities to human activities.
On this site I summarize my work-to-date, share a few R scripts, and host an archive of the paleolimnology podcast "Core Ideas" that I produce with my good friend Josh Thienpont.
